Headline results for staff survey now available

The University has received a report showing the headline results for the recent staff survey.

A total of 3,107 staff were invited to participate in the survey, which ran from 3-21 November. There were 1,537 responses, representing a response rate of 49%.

The survey was conducted in partnership with market-research company ORC, who will be providing the University with several levels of results analysis over the coming weeks.

The first of these, a ‘flash report’, provides the headline results at University level, although it does not include answers to the two open questions as the University has not yet received the results for these.

The University intends to share the outcomes of the survey as widely and swiftly as possible. Discussions, with a wide range of staff, will begin in early January to identify areas for action.

Following this consultation, an institutional plan will be developed, focussing on the key issues coming out of the survey.

Look out for more information on this over the coming weeks, some of which will be posted on the staff survey webpages.
